“As Above So Below”

Our most recent opening “As Above So Below” was a show featuring new works by Common House’s Rich Cali and long time friends and New Jersey natives Robert Ryan & Meghan McAleavy. The show was diverse and inspiring from Meghan’s three 11″ by 17″ appliqued reproductions of three cards in the tarot deck, to Roberts colorful paintings ranging from religious icons, sacred geometry and symbolism. The front room featured all new works by Rich Cali which have been a process from journal to paper. The natural free, fluid strokes in a book that you can close and keep to your self projected onto paper displaying his influences from grafitti, typography, design, folk art, even down to the visual sign of music and rhythm.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the show and supported the art.
